INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Two young trick-or-treaters were greeted by a man in the nude on Halloween night in Vero Beach, leading to the man’s quick arrest after the incident was reported by the children’s mother, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Frank Rosado, Jr., 42, of the 100 block of 22nd Avenue in Vero Beach, faces two charges of exposure of sexual organs after he came to the door not wearing any clothes and said, “No candy here,” and shut the door.

The victims’ mother told authorities the children were ashamed after the incident, but otherwise remained in good spirits.

When confronted by police at his home, Rosado allegedly said he was asleep prior to the police knocking on his door, according to the arrest affidavit.

Rosado was positively identified to police by the children’s mother and transported to the Indian River County Jail where he was released the next morning after posting $1,000 bond.
