Gloria Comboni,, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 2, 2014.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Comboni (Carmella); brother, Marlow Tinari; sister, Josephine Forte; and her niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Comboni and sister, Doris Testone.
Comboni was born in Derby, Conn., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 27 years, coming from Ansonia, Conn.
Prior to retirement, she worked for Hershey Metal for 12 years in Derby, Conn. She contributed to the War effort working in machine shops during World War II. Gloria was also a great cook. She was of the Catholic faith.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
