Glenn Block, 68, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 24, 2014, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He is survived by his wife Olga Block; children Kim Gibson, Suzy Block, Alex Lechiflard, and Natasha Cross; grandchildren Glenna Colom, Elisa Block, Samatha Gibson, Shayla Massie, Danika Stidham, Syler Jaques; great-grandchildren Dylan Colom, Chase Colom, and Gavin Gibson; former wife, Augusta Block; sisters, Sandy Mason, Eileen Mongoluzzio, Donna Krause, and Nancy Hoffman; and brothers Randy Block and Billy Block.
He was preceded in death by sisters Margaret Wood and Katherine Block and a brother, Frank Block.
Block was a native of Greensburg, Penn., and moved to Vero Beach in 1981 from Greensburg, Penn. He worked for Elliott Merrill Real Estate as a Property Manager until he became sick.
Block was a member of the Spirit Wind Church in Fort Pierce, and he was a long term member of the Newport Club in Vero Beach.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 5:30 p.m. at the Newport Club 2536 16th Ave., Vero Beach.
