David Rogers, 65, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 22, 2014, at VNA Hospice House with his loving family by his side after a long battle with early on-set Alzheimer’s Disease.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pam; sons Ken (Kris), Cody, and Austin; daughter Keri; brothers, Howie, Jim and Bruce; eight nieces and nephews and seven grandchildren.
He was born Aug. 12, 1949, in Norwalk, Conn., to the late Howard and Jesse Rogers. He was a long time resident of Broward County and moved to Vero Beach in 2003, coming from Jensen Beach.
Rogers served in the United States Army Reserves. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 719.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s name to the Senior Resource Association of Indian River County or to VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
