INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The former COO of the National Elephant Center is opening Trust Based Training and Animal Care LLC.
Jeff Bolling has taken the opportunity to open his new business working as an in home animal training consultant as well as providing in home pet sitting.
Working with and training elephants, large exotic cats including tigers, lions and leopards as well as many other exotic and domestic species for the last 28 years has prepared Bolling to embark on this new adventure.
Moving to the area almost four years ago, Bolling and his family have fallen in love with the Treasure Coast area and feel that this is the perfect place and time to start Trust Based Training and Animal Care, LLC.
Trust Based Training and Animal Care LLC, offers in home training consultation for just about any animal you may have. They also provide in home pet sitting as well as dog walking, horse lunging or round pen work.
Bolling believes in using a proactive approach when developing a relationship with any animal. The goal is to pursue a leadership role based on a trusting relationship. The misconception about leadership is that the leadership role is based on dominance. But a good leader is a person who is not a big bully or uses fear to motivate someone to perform.
Instead, a good leader in our society establishes clear parameters and expectations, is compassionate in their approach and tries to lead people to success. Rewarding appropriate and desired behavior is what drives us as well as pets to follow the leader.
Bolling’s approach is to help people learn to lead.
