William Render, 81, of Sebastian, passed away on Oct. 22, 2014.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Vera “Buddy”; children, Cindy (Ricky) Clawson, Karen (Gary) Smith, Gary (Barbara) Render, Vicki (Steve) Francis, Mark (Jill) Render, Michelle (Dane) Morris, Jimmy (Kimberly) Gambino; 14 grandchildren, John, Gary, Kristen, Amanda, Hannah, Mark, Timmy, Bobby, Justin, Elizabeth, Kourtney, Dane Jr., Ryan and Adyson; and eight great-grandchildren with the ninth due any day. He will be missed by his entire family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by both parents and his brothers Jack and Bud Render.
He was born and raised in Louisville Kent., to Shirrelle and Mildred (Booth) Render, and he worked for 30 years with the Louisville Fire Department, retiring as a captain. He moved to Sebastian in 1984 and worked for the Sebastian Police Department for eight years as a police officer and detective before finally retiring in 1994.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 13075 US Hwy 1, Sebastian, FL 32958 on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m.
