Marvin Darrisaw, 57, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 16, 2014.
He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Ella Darrisaw; his two daughters, Tiara Judon and Shannon Massey; five sisters, Mary Ann Brunson, Gloria Ann Lewis, Ruby Darrisaw and Carolyn Rene McNeal and Sharon Dobson; brother, Leroy Darrisaw; three grandchildren, Aniyah Judson, Dalesaray Whetstone and Di’Kayla Whetstone; six aunts, Ernestine Miller (Willie Lee), Gloria Hunter, Annie Lee Williams, Hattie Pearl Hagans and Faye Brown, and Susie Brown; one uncle, James Hagans Jr.; one brother-in-law Anthony McNeal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Emory, Uncle Joe Brown, grandmother Hattie Queen Hagans, Aunt Margaret Brown, Uncle Willie R. Brown and his father Eddie Darrisaw Jr.
Darrisaw was born on Nov. 11, 1956 to Mary Ella and the late Eddie Darrisaw Jr. in Vero Beach. He was the sixth child of seven children.
Darrisaw worked in the Groves for Billy Graves before being employed by the Indian River Exchange Packers Inc. where he worked as a driver hauling fruit for many years. He also worked for Keith Mason at Mason Hauling ‘N’ Labor doing what he loved most, driving trucks.
Being a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, he served as a member of the choir and an usher on the Usher Board during his teenage years.
On Oct. 16, 2014, in Orlando, the Lord called our beloved Marvin home to the kingdom of Heaven.
