Mildren “Millie” P. McWaid, 86, of Sebastian, passed away peacefully on Aug. 22, 2014, at her home.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Michael); son Cal; sister, Hazel Behari; and grandchildren John, Stacey, Bret, Justin, and Pamela.
She was the beloved wife of the late Enoch “Mac” McWaid.
McWaid lived in Florida since 1983, coming from Wolcott. Her career in nursing started at Anaconda American Brass and ended at Kaynor Technical High School. She was a charter member of the United Church of Sebastian, and was also a member of the Barefoot Bay Women’s Golf League.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, at United Church of Sebastian, CR 512 (Sebastian Boulevard). Memorial Contributions may be made to United Church of Sebastian, 1251 Sebastian Blvd., Sebastian, FL 32958.
