Maureen Luke, 82, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She is survived by her sons J. David Luke (Judy), Rick Luke (Michelle), and Gary Luke; daughter Lisa Mettler (David); brother Leroy Smith; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years James Luke.
Luke was born in Boulder City, Nev., and has been a resident of Vero Beach for the past 45 years coming from Savannah, Ga.
She was of Baptist faith. She was a seamstress and quilt maker.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 2, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
