Robert W. Parvin, 82, Vero Beach

Robert W. Parvin, 82, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 6, 2014.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Dorie; daughters Sandra Estes, Nancy (Steve) Bell, and Dona Parvin; step-son Gene (Pam) Brunell; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.

He was predeceased by his daughter Lynda Davis, grandson Jason Bell and his sister Joan Hawkins.

Parvin was born Dec. 10, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y. and raised in Jacksonville, Fla. He loved the water, whether on his sailboats or as a professional diver. He spent 10 years on a NOAA research ship as diver and the operator of government computer #002. He also designed many subdivisions in his hometown of Jacksonville. Most of all, Parvin loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to Cornerstone Christian Church, 5950 12th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32966.
