Bree Burkman, 57, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sept. 21, 2014, in the loving arms of her sisters Linda Robinson and Alisa Todd.
She is survived by her daughter Nicole (Claude) Walker; son Christopher Jacob Wayne; grandchildren Stephanie, Victoria, Claude IV, Brooklyn and Kristyn; sisters Linda (Doug) Robinson and Alisa (Dr. Harrison) Todd; and nieces and nephews, Laurel Robinson, Don Robinson, Zachary Todd, Ariana Todd, and Alexa Todd.
She was predeceased by her mother Edythe Burkman and father George Burkman.
Burkman was born in Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich., and moved to Vero Beach in 1994, coming from Maui, Hawaii.
She was a caregiver to the elderly. Previously, she represented artists from Maui, traveling from Hawaii to Paris, showcasing their Aquatic Art.
Burkman had a genuine, inspirational, generous heart and a giving soul to all less fortunate, whom she did her best to assist. She was a member of First Church of God, Vero Beach.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 10, at First Church of God “Prayer Chapel,” with Pastor Doug Vogt, officiating.
