Esther Mae Fitzgerald, Sebastian

Esther Mae Fitzgerald, of Sebastian, formerly of Tilton, N.H., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie; daughters Sharon Montambeault (David), Sally Hamilton (Clement); sons William Fitzgerald (Susan) and John Fitzgerald (LuAnne); sisters, Janice Piper, Linda Montambeault, Georgia Yarborough, and Sandy Robinson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Fitzgerald, is preceded by her parents, Victor and Doris (Burleigh) Stanton. She was born in Tilton, N.H., on Sept. 14, 1926, but has made her home in Sebastian for the past 21 years.

Fitzgerald expressed her love and passion in her beautiful painting, quilting, needle point and rug making and will be fondly remembered by friends and family through, not only many happy memories, but also her beautiful artistic creations bestowed upon them with love through the years.

Fitzgerald, had a passion for traveling, most especially to visit beloved relatives in Whale Cove, on Digby Neck in Nova Scotia, where she and her husband, Charlie, have spent many summer months over the years.

A memorial service will be held in her honor in the coming weeks. Fitzgerald will be sadly missed by all.
