Authorities on lookout for stolen boat

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a fishing boat that was reported stolen from the Boats ‘N Motors in Vero Beach.

According to information from the Sheriff’s Office, the boat went missing sometime between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. The white boat with blue trim was on a 2001, 25-foot Magic Tilt aluminum double axle trailer with Florida tag 601WCC.

The boat has the name “White Dog IV” lettered on the outside, according to authorities. It is a 2001 Pro-line X, white 24.5 foot open fisherman boat with a white hard top. It has the Florida tag 6416LS. It also has a black 2005 Suzuki outboard motor.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 5’10”-6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with light color hair, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He was allegedly wearing a white t-shirt and tan shorts and driving a blue or silver 1990s or early2000s full size Dodge or Chevy pickup truck.
