Jeannette Rosengarten, 94, passed away on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Jeannette was born in Fort Morgan, Colo., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 20 years coming from Broomall, Pa.
Jeannette served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy during World War II and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Greeley State College in Colorado.
Prior to retirement, Jeanette worked as a nurse at Broomall Presbyterian Nursing Home for 20 years in Broomall, Pa.
She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the organ, bowling and playing bridge.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Linda Adams (Ronald); Jo-Anne Brown (Kimball); grandchildren, Lauren Davis-McCluskey, Stephen Powers, Daniel Powers; and a great-grandchild, Tyler Powers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rosengarten.
Services will be held at a later date.
