VERO BEACH — After establishing a well received and highly attended BBQ and Blues Festival in Jensen Beach for the past three years, Flavors Festivals LLC will bring the event to Vero Beach for the first time in 2015.
Scheduled for March 7, from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. in Riverside Park, the inaugural Vero Beach BBQ and Blues Festival will feature “a full day of mouth-watering barbecue, live entertainment and family fun,” according to the event’s press release.
In addition, the event will feature an “Artisan’s Alley” where local artisans will be able to showcase “their latest offerings, from the rubs, to the marinades/sauces to eclectic arts and crafts.”
Alcohol will be served to attendees 21 and over in a roped off “adult beverage pavilion” area.
City Council members approved the event 5-0 as part of its Tuesday evening consent agenda.
