GIFFORD — The murder victim from the early morning Sept. 14 shooting has been identified.
Cornelius Gore, 30, of Fort Pierce, died at Indian River Medical Center after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office is still looking for the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder that happened early Sunday morning in Gifford, according to a press release.
At approximately 3:35 a.m. Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the 2900 block of 45th Street in Gifford, according to authorities.
Dep. Robert Sunkel located a 30-year-old black male with multiple gunshot wounds lying near a local barber shop. Deputies Sunkel and Evans performed CPR until Indian River County Fire Rescue arrived and transported the wounded male to Indian River Medical Center.
The man later died as a result of his gunshot wounds.
