VERO BEACH — BethWE, Inc. will be hosting a day of family fun on Sept. 20. Beth and her team will be hosting “Healthy Families on the Run” – a 5K run/walk for all to enjoy. This event will benefit the 2nd annual Summit for Parents of Teens and Tweens, which will be held on Oct. 11.
“Healthy Families on the Run” will be held at South Beach Park with registration starting at 6:30 a.m.
The children’s 1 mile race will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K will start at 8 a.m. The cost for the race is $25 for adults (pre-registration) and $30 on the day of the race, $10 for children under 14 (pre-registration) and $12 on race day.

In addition to the race, there will be a supervised bounce house for the children to play while their parents are partaking in the run. Local radio host Rhett Palmer will be the MC for the morning with Runner’s Depot ensuring and accurate and professional course.
Awards will be given to all age groups, Tech shirts will be given to the first 100 registrants and a continental breakfast will be served after the race.
The mission of Beth and her team is to help families connect, communicate and thrive. Beth’s goal is to help parents navigate the turbulent years between 10 and 18.
