SEBASTIAN — Coach, a 5-year-old Pekingese, was recently rescued along with more than 50 other animals from an abandoned animal shelter in Port St. Lucie.
Coach and his friends were trapped in a metal shed reaching up to 115 degrees with no food or water. They were on shaky ground when H.A.L.O. Rescue stepped in to save their lives.
Needless to say, Coach is ready to go to a safe home with new people to love him.
According to Jacque Petrone, H.A.L.O.’S founder, Coach is beautiful on the inside and out.
“He loves to be cuddled and enjoys hanging out with other dogs but he does need to be fed separately from other pets,” Petrone said.
His foster mom described him as mellow, affectionate, and playful. He will even wait to be invited through doors.
