Alma Proth, 87, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 26, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy Fetkenher; sons Albert Proth and David Proth; three grandsons, three great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter; sister Virginia Sampson; and brother James Hicks.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert and brother Patrick Hicks.
Proth was born in Kansas City, Mo., on Sept. 18, 1926, daughter of the late Clyde D. and Lillie Bell (Goodbar) Hicks.
She lived in Sebastian for 44 years. She loved spending time with her family and her loving ways will be missed. She will also greatly be missed by her four-legged companion, Katie Cakes.
