M.A.C.E. arrests 2 and seizes drugs, gun

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Artimus Bradley, 31, and Wyman Malone, 30, were arrested after the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Criminal Enforcement (M.A.C.E.) Unit served the men with a search warrant in the 4400 block of 27th Ave. and uncovered a plethora of illegal drugs, paraphernalia, and one handgun.

“Detectives located and seized 17 small bags of crack cocaine weighing 4.3 grams, 1.5 grams of powder cocaine, six grams of marijuana, 1.5 grams of methamphetamine, more than 50 miscellaneous pills including Oxycodone and Hydromorphone, and a loaded 9mm Highpoint handgun,” according to an official media release.

Bradley, a resident of Fort Pierce, faces charges of three counts of possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in Hydromorphone, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on $30,500 bond.

Malone, of Gifford, faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held without bond.

According to authorities, an additional arrest is still expected to be made in this case.
