VERO BEACH — Join the Vero Beach Lifeguard Association for the innaugural Race To The Wreck, a 750-yard ocean swim from the beach off Waldo’s Restaurant, 3150 Ocean Drive, Vero Beach, to the steamship Breconshire and back on Sunday, Aug. 31.
The event starts at 7 a.m. and participants are encouraged to make a $20 donation.
There will only be event-day registration due to changing weather/water conditions.
There will be four divisions: Men, Women, Men (with fins), Women (with fins).
The event serves to benefit the Vero Beach Lifeguard Association.
