Cynthia Louise Spinks, 58, of Sebastian, passed away on Aug. 20, 2014 after fighting a brave and hard battle against Leukemia.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Randell; parents Frank and Betty Lou Sanzo; daughter Kari Dennis and friend George Johnson; sister Beth Larson (Charlie); brothers Frank Sanzo (Shari) and Steven Sanzo (Michelle); grandsons Bailey Dennis, Tylar and Charles Dennis; nieces and nephews, Charlie, Jr. (Tiffany), Lindsay (Matt), Frankie, Jr. , (Lindsay) , Tawny (James), Kirstie and Andrew; Uncle Bob Purtell and beloved cousins, Debbie Purtell, Becky Palmer, Linda Spruill and David Purtell.
Spinks was a loving and true friend to many. She had the most caring heart and would do without to help others in need. She most cherished her large and loving family.
She was born on April 28, 1956 in Binghamton, N.Y. Her family moved to Boca Raton from Vestal, N.Y. when she was 11. She attended Boca High and graduated from Boca Prep School in 1974.
She worked in the casual furniture business for many years. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for many years.
Spinks’ family is grateful to God for her life on earth, her friendships, and for your kindness and prayers.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m, Tuesday, Aug. 26, at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, 901 Clearmont St., Sebastian, with Father Dave Newhart officiating.
