13th Ave. in Downtown Vero Beach to go back to 2-way traffic

VERO BEACH — At the request of adjacent business owners and Main Street Vero Beach, the City of Vero Beach will be converting 13th Avenue between 20th Place and 21st Street back to two-way traffic.

Work will begin on Tuesday Sept. 2 and will take approximately two weeks to complete depending on weather conditions.

During construction Vero Beach Public Works will maintain one lane of travel in the current northbound direction at all times.

The City asks that drivers stay out of areas marked for construction and for their patience as they complete the project.

Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact Assistant City Engineer Bill Messersmith at (772) 978-4870, or Public Works Manager Steve Fuller at (772) 978-4800.
