Virginia Olney, 86, formerly of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 14, 2014 in Cleveland, Ohio.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Elizabeth Chute (J. Kandelin), Susan Chute (K. Hocevar), Robert Chute (L. Karppi); two grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard H. Olney.
Olney was born Nov. 7, 1927 in Manhattan, N.Y. and resided in Vero Beach from 1988-2010, where she was active as a volunteer at her local school and loved singing in her church choir.
