Leonard Cousineau, 88, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 12, 2014.
He is survived by his daughters JoAnne Ivins and Jackie Kirkman; sons Gary Cousineau, J. Dwayne Cousineau; sister Alexandria Feasey; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lucille Cousineau who passed away on Jan. 26, 2010.
Cousineau was born on Aug. 19, 1925 in Verner, Ontario, Canada and at 16-years-old joined the Royal Canadian Air Force where he became an airplane mechanic. He loved his family and often dreamed of returning one day to his hometown that he loved so much.
After the war he became a Master Watchmaker and married the love of his life, Lucille. They moved to Miami, in 1948 and established L & L Cousineau Jewelers, then later relocated the company to Vero Beach in 1976.
