VERO BEACH — According to campaign finance reports dating through July 31, Randy Old is leading the four current Vero Beach City Council candidates in funding.
Contributions to Old’s campaign total more than $30,500 while candidate Brian Curley’s contributions sit at the $8,200 mark. Charlie Wilson has raised $350 so far and Brian Heady has $0.
Rumors of Brian Curley’s plans to announce his withdrawal from the November election could not be confirmed by the City Clerk’s office.
Curley could not be reached for comment.
