Benjamin C. Patt Jr., 81, of Vero Beach, passed away after battling cancer on Aug. 3, 2014.
He is survived by his beloved wife Judith S. Patt, whom he married in 1959; daughters, Martha Manion (Peter), Sarah Patt-Pronek (Neal), Susannah Barratt (Jack), Jennifer King (Tom); eight grandchildren; and sister Mariana Corrado (Tony).
His many accomplishments included 35 years as a Rotarian, as well as many years volunteering for the Red Cross and The Salvation Army. Additionally, he authored five children books. He spent many years traveling and writing articles about his adventures.
Patt will be greatly missed for his great sense of humor as well as his practical jokes. We are sure that he is entertaining the angels in Heaven. He was a graduate of The Lawrenceville School, and a 1956 graduate of Colgate University.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, Aug. 11 at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers please send any donations in Patt’s name to Hospice House in Vero Beach.
