INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Surie is an 8-year-old “Pibble” mix with a very gentle personality.
A Pibble refers to the cross between a Pit Bull and another breed, usually a terrier.
Brought to the Humane Society as a stray, Surie is currently excelling in the shelter’s “Train to Adopt” program. According to Janet Winikoff of the Humane Society, the program is like “finishing school for dogs.”
She has a very sweet disposition and melts hearts with the loving look she gives anyone who calls her name.
Surie is known for being very gentle and would be a great companion for a family with older children. Winikoff said it would be best if Surie was the only dog in the household.
