Joseph Bradley, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 15, 2014.
He is survived by nephews, Dr. John Bradley, Edward Bradley, Rev. C.V. Bradley, and JV Bradley; nieces, Mary Louise Deblasio, Shirley Sanfalippo, Bernice Winchuh, Kathleen Elrod, and Elizabeth Bradley.
He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Beatrice Marie Hill Bradley and five brothers: John, James, Leo, Vincent and Edward.
He was born in Paterson, N.J. and moved to Florida from Fair Lawn, N.J. in 1986.
Bradley retired from the New Jersey school system in 1983 and was an agent for a national book publishing company.
He earned a BA and a MA from Montclair State University with courses for professional growth from William Patterson State University and Columbia University in New York City.
Bradley was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach, an Army veteran of WWII, a life member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars, the 691st Field Artillery Battalion Association, the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, Lions Club of New Jersey, and a coordinator of the Ridge Runners of Sandridge Golf Course, Vero Beach.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., August 12, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Joseph C. Bradley.
