James Spivey, 60, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 27, 2014.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kay; three children, Jay Roger Spivey, Jr., Stephanie Farquer, and Mandy Spivey; his mother, Minoby Spivey; his sister, Starr Zinsminster; and six grandchildren.
He was born in Ft. Lauderdale on Nov. 24, 1953, to Fred and Minoby Spivey. He was a lifelong resident of Fellsmere and Vero Beach and worked for Direct TV as an installer for seven years.
A visitation will be held at New Hope Ministries, 4425 71st St., Vero Beach on Friday, Aug. 1, from 12-1 p.m. with a service to begin at 1 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Winter Beach Cemetery. To send condolences please visit www.seawindsfh.com.
