The election for the Indian River County School Board will be held as part of the Aug. 26 Primary Election. All registered voters of Indian River County will be able to vote in the election.

Two candidates are running for each of the two district seats up for election.
Incumbent Karen Disney-Brombach is facing challenger Shawn R. Frost for the District 1 seat. Former School Board member Charles Searcy and Randy Heimler are running for the District 4 seat.
School Board Chair Carol Johnson currently holds the District 4 seat but decided against seeking re-election.
