INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A traffic stop of a Gifford woman led to a stash of drugs and money, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. During the same day two Vero Beach men were arrested on drug charges as well.
Friday evening, the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Criminal Enforcement (M.A.C.E.) Unit conducted a traffic stop that led to the seizure of 100 Hydrocodone pills, 115 Alprazolam (Xanax) pills, and nearly $900 of drug money, according to a press release.
Tiffany Taylor-Moore, 34, of Gifford, was arrested and faces charges with trafficking Hydrocodone, possession of Hydrocodone, and possession of Alprazolam. Taylor-Moore is currently being held at the Indian River County Jail without bond, according to authorities.
During another case, Indian River County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Cpl. Fletcher McClellan was at a residence in the 1900 block of 26th Street attempting to serve an outstanding violation of probation warrant on Keith Fecke, 19, of Vero Beach.
While inside the residence, marijuana was observed in plain view, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies secured the residence while the M.A.C.E. Unit obtained a search warrant.
The execution of the search warrant resulted in the seizure of a loaded .45 -caliber Highpoint handgun with no serial number, 49 grams of marijuana, 154 Carbamazepine pills, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia including rolling papers, digital scales, and a vacuum heat sealer.
They also located and seized just over $15,000 in drug money.
Keith Fecke faces charges of having an outstanding violation of probation warrant along with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm with an altered or removed serial number, according to authorities.
Also located in the residence, Scott Fecke, 21, of Vero Beach, who was charged with felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Bronte Lenning, 19, of Vero Beach, who faces charges of tampering with evidence, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Keith Fecke remains in the Indian River County Jail with no bond while Scott Fecke, and Lenning have been released on bond.
“These cases exemplify the relationship between our MACE Unit and our uniform patrol deputies,” said Sheriff Deryl Loar. “They work together every day to take drug dealers off the streets of Indian River County. We will not stand by and let the youth of our community be poisoned by a few bad people.”
