Ethel Henson, 86, of Sebastian, passed away on July 22, 2014, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian. She was born in Smyrna, S. Ca., and lived in Sebastian since 2008 coming from Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and South Carolina.
She retired after 20 years from General Motors in Flint, Mich., and was a long time member of the United Auto Workers Union.
Survivors include her son, Jack (Sue) Odom, of Sebastian; granddaughters, Christine Odom and Jessica Odom, both of Sebastian, and Courtney Henson; grandsons, Ryan Henson, Eric Odom, and Ronald Harris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henson, and son Ron Harris.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
