Evelyn Hyatt, 85, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 24, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Woodrow G. Hyatt; daughters, Susan Follot and Cindy Pillitteri; son, Michael Hyatt; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, David Hyatt in 1992 and her sister, Jane Burke.
She was born March 21, 1929 in Waynesboro, Penn., and had been a resident of Indian River County for 28 years, coming from Falls Church, Va.
Prior to retirement, Hyatt worked 30 years with the United States Department of Labor.
She was a member of Unity Church, where she served as a volunteer. She was also a member of Stepping Stone Quilters of Sebastian.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, at Unity Church, Vero Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the Unity Church.
