Gloria Ann Bechtel, 80, of Plainfield, Ill. with family in Vero Beach, passed away on July 21, 2014, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Ill.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Bechtel; two daughters, Lisa Hardiman, Elizabeth Nafe; a son, Jon (Leslee) Bechtel; five grandchildren, Stephanie Simon, Matthew Hardiman, Jeffrey Bechtel, Ailison Bechtel, and Christopher Nafe; and a sister, Sharlene (Robert) Ingmand.
She was born March 22, 1934 in Ashland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Floyd R and Mildred nee Long Baker.
Prior to Bechtel’s retirement she was employed as a Registered Nurse.
A memorial service will be held.
