INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Marine Bank & Trust has announced its continuing commitment to Leadership Indian River County, sponsored by the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce. For the past two years, the Bank has provided a minority scholarship for Leadership Indian River County.
Leadership Indian River County is a community leadership program that includes a seven-session training program providing a hands-on, multi-disciplinary study of Indian River County’s current infrastructure, resources and issues.
The program develops leaders who can meet challenges, recognize opportunities and strengthen the communities in Indian River County. This year’s recipient is LaKisha Erwin, who is with Indian River Habitat for Humanity.
