FT. PIERCE – Get ready to find out how to jumpstart career options in two profitable and in-demand career fields. Those interested in preparing for a career in Automotive Technology or Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology will want to attend a special IRSC information session Thursday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. in room B111 at the Indian River State College Main Campus located at 3209 Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce.

IRSC offers automotive training that builds increasingly sophisticated skills in all aspects of automotive repair, maintenance and service. Students can choose the Automotive Service Technology certificate program or the degree program in Automotive Service Management. IRSC programs are certified in all eight categories by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), and students gain valuable skills for ASE certification.

Florida has one of the nation’s most active air conditioning industries.

Today, all phases of the air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration industry require skilled employees who have the educational background and technical training to develop and apply new advances in the field.

Students who complete the A.A.S.
