Ronald Dennis DeMars, 76, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 7, 2014.
He is survived by his daughter Michelle DeMars; daughter, Amy (John) Lehoullier; and grandsons Ben and Jack; brother, James (Charlotte) DeMars; stepson, Darren Wittick and step-grandchildren, Shawn and Sophia; stepdaughter Charlene (John) Hargrove; and step-grandsons, Jace and Drew; former wife Betty Lake; and many other family members and friends.
DeMars was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Richard DeMars, and former wife Barbara Wittick.
He was born in Aurora, Ill., on April 10, 1938, to Donald and Elizabeth (Govi) DeMars.
Most of his childhood was spent in Kankakee, Ill., where he graduated from St. Patrick Central High School. His career in the automotive industry spanned 50 years, with positions ranging from sales to management. His interests included restoring cars, barbecues, lawn care, yard sales, and music, especially jazz and big band.
