Helen Ruth Thompson, 93, formerly of Vero Beach, passed away on July 6, 2014.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Mumford (Tom) and Judy Richardson (Glenn); brothers, Larry Ruebeling, E.J. Ruebeling and Clarence Ruebeling; sister; Betty Jean Davis, five grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rufus Thompson and sisters Katherine Rudebeling and Florence Wilder.
She lived in Vero Beach prior to moving to Marianna. Thompson was a member of the Marianna First United Methodist Church.
A memorial service for Thompson will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, in the First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach with Rev. Jeff Stiggins officiating. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be submitted online at www.mariannachapelfh.com.
