Judith Joy Hertfelder Burke, 74, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 8, 2014.
She is survived by her stepson, her three loving granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
She was born in St. Louis on Nov. 13, 1940 to the late William and Bernice Hertfelder. She is an alumnus of Stephens College, Columbia, Mo.
She married the late William J. Burke on Aug. 11, 1973. Bill was the love of her life, and they shared nearly 40 wonderful years together.
A graveside service will be held at Lauderdale Memorial Park at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19 at 2001 SW 4th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315. Strunk Funeral Homes and Crematory of Vero Beach (772) 562-2325 will be handling the arrangements.
