Pieter C. Van Dalen, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Teresa; a daughter, Dolly Van Dalen (Don McGuigan); a son, Pieter Van Dalen (Korri); two grandchildren, Alyssa and Alex; and six brothers and sisters.
Van Dalen was born in Holland to Wilhemus and Jacoba Van Dalen. He was a mechanical engineer for Volvo until his retirement. He was a Master Mason and a Shriner. He also served in the military during WWII.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, at 4 p.m. at the Templo Cristiano Magdiel, 125 27th Avenue SW, Vero Beach.
