Marilyn Willliams, 86, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 19, 2014.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald and Edward McBride; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Williams, III, daughter, Patricia McBride, son, Thomas McBride and grandchildren, John (J.T.) McBride and Andrew McBride.
She was born Aug. 2, 1927, in Hebron, Ind., to Joseph and Hazel (Morgan) McAlpin.
Williams lived in Cleveland, Ohio, Coral Gables, Fla., Key Biscayne, Fla., Raleigh, N.C., and Pinehurst, N.C. She loved and made Vero Beach her permanent residence in 2002.
She was an avid follower of golf. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. She was very fond of dogs, especially Yorkies.
