Joyce Espitee, 72, of Sebastian, passed away on July 9, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Phil Espitee; son, Philip Espitee, Jr. (Tracey); daughter, Dawn Siepmann (Barry); four grandchildren, Taylor, Rebecca and Austin Espitee and Michael Siepmann; siblings, Berniece Falcosky, Leona Wallenberg, Lucille Gangestad, Marvella “Sis” Beck, Robert Kasemodel, Albert “Gene” Kasemodel, and Carol Sels; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandson RJ Siepmann, and brothers Alvin Kasemodel, Marvin Kasemodel and Delmar Kasemodel.
Espitee was the youngest of 11, born on Dec. 27, 1941. She worked as a stenographer for an insurance company in Sioux Falls S.D. In 1961 she moved to California and worked as a legal secretary. It was there she met and married Phil Espitee in Sherman Oaks.
After Phil got out of the Marine Corps in 1964, they moved to New Milford, Conn. where she worked for Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 25 years before retiring to Florida in 2000.
She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Micco, Fla.; Sebastian Women’s Club, and a past member of Barefoot Bay Computer Club where she taught computer classes for several years.

A Celebration of Life will be announced for August in New Milford, Conn. and Sioux Falls, S.D. for the fall.
