Kathleen Anne Kimmins Westbrook, 68, was born in the Brooklyn Naval Yard on Sept. 13, 1945, and died July 8, 2014.
She lived in Elmhurst, New York; Dayton, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pa., Orlando and Vero Beach. She started her banking career at Pittsburgh National Bank in 1965 and spent 30 years in banking in Florida.
On Feb. 28, 2013, she retired as a Vice President and Trust Administrator at Northern Trust after 20 years with the organization.
Survivors include her husband, Parris Westbrook; sister, Judith Murphy; three daughters, Shana Whitehead, Corry Westbrook, and Jessica Westbrook; and three grandsons.
She was pre-deceased by her father and mother, Robert and Helen Kimmins, and by her sister, Debra Kimmins Morrone.
Kathy was one of the kindest people to ever walk the Earth.
Services will be held at Strunk Funeral Home at 916 17th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960 on Saturday, July 12, 2014. Family and friends will begin to gather at 3 p.m. with a service at 4 p.m., followed with a celebration of life reception at The Plaza located adjacent to the funeral home.
