Public meeting for beach preservation scheduled for July 22

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The second of two public meetings regarding the current updating process of the Indian River County Beach Preservation Plan will be held on Tuesday July 22 from 5:30-8 p.m. in the County Commission Chambers.

The first meeting held in December 2013 laid out the goals and objectives of the plan, while the upcoming meeting “will be held following development of beach management strategies and completion of coastal numerical modeling,” according to information provided at the County Commissioners meeting.
