Knights of Columbus announces new officers

VERO BEACH — Mother of Perpetual Help Council 5629 of the Knights of Columbus has announced its new officers for the fraternal year beginning July 1, 2014. The Council will be led this fraternal year by Thomas P. Kiernan, Grand Knight.

Tom will be assisted by Deputy Grand Knight Nick DiRocco, Chancellor Ed Boatwright, Financial Secretary Ed Boesch, Treasurer Dominic Lettierre, Advocate Tom O’Neill, Recorder Dan Delgado, Lecturer Don Johnson, Warden Leo Landry, Inside Guard Marty Romano, Outside Guard Vic Ingenito, Three Year Trustee John Bardsley, Two Year Trustee Bill Conforti, and One Year Trustee John Negherbon.

With more than 1.8 million members, the Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest lay Catholic organization. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, the community, families, and young people.

In 2012, the Knights of Columbus at all levels of the organization raised and distributed $167 million to charity and rendered 70 million hours of volunteer service.
