Marion Hayth, 94, Vero Beach

Marion Hayth, 94, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 30, 2014.

She is survived by her two sons, John Hayth Jr. (Ellen) and William T. Hayth (Theresa); five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Pearsall (Flo); sister-in-law Alice Pearsall; and an extended family of relatives and friends from every walk of life.

Her love of life and her contagious laugh will be missed by all of her loved ones and those that were lucky enough to know her.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Hayth, her loving parents, brother John (Sonny) Pearsall, his wife Taffy Pearsall and brother Donald Pearsall.

Hayth is a graduate of Babylon High School in New York. She went on to work in the Babylon High School System. She was involved in many community activities in New York, including the Babylon Fire Department (Argyle Hose Co.).

Her big heart and larger than life personality was fueled by her love of sweets. She loved to sing, laugh, cook and was so proud of her adoring family.

A celebration of her life will be held at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, from 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, with a Prayer Service beginning at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to VNA Hospice Foundation 1110 35th Lane Vero Beach, FL 32960. The family of Marion (Mom, Grandma, Grams) wishes to thank the staff at Atlantic Healthcare Center of Vero Beach and Hospice. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
