Ethel M. Yanosky, 88, of Sebastian

Ethel M. Yanosky, 88, passed away at her home in Sebastian on June 18, 2014, after a prolonged illness. Ethel was born in Stratford, Ct., and resided in Milford, Ct., before moving to Sebastian 26 years ago.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Yanosky, and daughter, Kathleen Lacouture.

Ethel was a member and past officer of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Ladies Guild at St. Sebastian Church, as well as numerous garden clubs. She adored her family and friends, and enjoyed gardening and baking.

Ethel’s survivors include her son, Robert A. Yanosky; her daughters, Shirley Barton and Patricia Yanosky, both of Sebastian, FL; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church on July 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford, Ct.
