Gladys Rose Lieffort, 77, of Vero Beach, died on June 23, 2014.
Gladys was born in Wisconsin on Feb. 14, 1937, to Agnes and Oscar Neuser. She entered into marriage with Berwyn (Bub) Lieffort in 1959 and was blessed with five children: Jim (Kathy) Lieffort, Dave (Carol) Lieffort, her deceased daughter, Martha Lieffort, Bob (Mary) Lieffort, and Michael Lieffort.
She is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Sierra and Dan Lieffort, Meghan, Heidi and Hunter Lieffort, and Madison; two sister, Helen Scheuer and Agnes Baer; two brothers, Chuck (Lois) Neuser and Francis (Dolores) Neuser; and her brother-in-law and wife, John and Elsa Lieffort.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret Kleiber and Marion Counard; and one brother, Fr. Robert Lieffort, of Sebastian.
She is survived by 28 nieces and nephews.
Gladys was an active member of St. Helen’s Parish in Vero Beach and its Rosary Group and appreciated all of her friends support and prayers. She and Bub are also members of St. Joseph’s Parish in Sturgeon Bay, Wisc., and the Rosary Group there.
Gladys and Bub have a summer home in Sturgeon Bay and have enjoyed many years there with wonderful neighbors and friends.
The Family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Helens in Vero Beach, or St. Joseph’s in Sturgeon Bay.
The family also wants to thank Hospice of Vero Beach and Dr. William McGarry.
A Memorial Mass will be held Noon, Saturday, June 28, 2014, at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph’s Parish at a later date.
