Elmer ‘Pudge’ Lancaster, 90, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 20, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lois; sister, Ardith; two nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother.
Lancaster was born Sept. 5, 1923, to Elmer R. and Sophia Lancaster in Prophetstown, Ill.
He Enlisted in USMC, June 1941, and served in the battles of Guatemala and Tarawa. He was Discharged in September 1945.
Lancaster Retired as Construction Supervisor from Common Wealth Edison after 38 years.
He was a Life member of VFW Post 10210 in Sebastian, American Legion Post 189 in Sebastian, and 32nd degree Mason and Tebala Shrine. He was two times past Exalted Ruler at Sebastian Elks 2714.
